Definition

Use

If you select this checkbox, you can split assignments at any given point by choosing the respective context menu entry in the Web-based planning board.

This feature is available for concrete assignments and stretched assignments.

If you do not select this checkbox, the system splits the assignment into two halves when the Split Assignment context menu entry is chosen.

Dependencies

If you select this checkbox in Customizing, the custom split function is available by default when a user launches the planning board for the first time.

In addition, this checkbox is available in the user settings. Selecting or deseleting this checkbox allows each user to activate the custom split function as desired.
