Definition
Controls whether or not the assignment dates and duration can be edited when assignments are created in the Web-based planning board.
Use
If you select this checkbox, the dates and duration of the demand are copied to the newly created assignment and cannot be edited on the Assignment Details screen.
Dependencies
If you select this checkbox in Customizing, an Assignment Follows Demand checkbox is displayed on the Assignment Details screen. This allows users to activate or deactivate the function for each assignment individually.
Note:
This setting is only relevant if you have activated the assignment follows demand function. You do this in Customizing under Sources of Demand --> Activate Assignment Follows Demand Function (and Activate Assigment Follows Demand Function (ERP) for demands originating in SAP ERP).
