Definition
Controls whether the system enhances the employee- or demand search. The enhancement consists of extending the search for suitable resources or demands to all higher-level hierarchy levels of the qualification catalog of the secondary dimension
Use
If you search for resources for a demand or vice versa, but no suitable results are returned, you canextend the search to the higher-level hierarchy levels of the qualification catalog. You may thenreceive more hits, although these hits will not comply as well with the respective employee- or demand profile.
Dependencies
When the system finds a resource or demand with a qualification from a neighboring hierarchy level, itevaluates this qualification using its own weighting factor.

The system can find several qualifications during the extended search. You specify how the degree ofsuitability for each required, structured qualification is determined from the hits in Customizing for Multi Resource Scheduling at Qualifications -> Functions ->Define Basic Settings for Qualification Matching.
