Documentation
Definition
Controls whether the system enhances the employee- or demand search. The enhancement consists of extending the search for suitable resources or demands to all higher-level hierarchy levels of the qualification catalog of the primary dimension.
Use
If you search for resources for a demand or vice versa, but no suitable results are returned, you can extend the search to the higher-level hierarchy levels of the qualification catalog. You may then receive more hits, although these hits will not comply as well to the respective employee- or requirements profile.
Dependencies
If the system finds a resource or demand with a qualification from a neighboring hierarchy level, it evaluates this qualification with its own weighting factor.
See: Factor for Neighboring Level Matching at Higher Level
The system may find several qualifications during the extended search. In Customizing for Multi Resource Scheduling at Qualifications -> Functions -> Define Basic Settings for Qualification Matching, you specify how the degree or suitability for each required structured qualification is determined from the hits.
