Definition
Indicates whether or not the system considers the overutilization of a resource when calculating the resource availability.
Use
If you select this checkbox, overbooked time is not considered when determining the availability of a resource. That is, the negative capacity that accumulates during the overbooked period does not reduce the capacity outside the overbooked period.
Dependencies
Example
Resource A is available for 8 hours/day from Monday to Friday. The resource has a 40-hour assignment from Monday to Thursday. You call up the suitable resource search and search for resource within the period Monday to Friday for an 8-hour assignment.
The following applies:
- If you do not select this checkbox, the search result is 0% availability for resource A. The overbooked time (2 h per day) that accumulates from Monday to Thursday reduces the availability on Friday.
- If you select this checkbox, the search result is 100% availability for resource A, since the overbooked period ends on Thursday. The overbooked time does not reduce the availablity of the resource on Friday.
Note:
In this example, the start and end times for the assignment and the search is midnight (00:00).
