Definition

Determines a date that identifies the same point in time for all the users.

Use

The lock at resource level and the determination of changes to a resource always refer to one particular day. Different users working in different time zones might have different dates even though the point in time is the same. For this reason, the date is determined as the date that is valid for the particular time in this time zone, rather than as a local date.

The time zone in the planning board profile is variable. You specify a time zone that is appropriate for all users.
