Documentation
Definition
Indicates which time period the system considers when determining free time slots for shifting demands.
Use
The following applies:
- If you choose Future, the system considers the time period from the current demand date to the end of the planning horizon.
- If you want to shift a single demand, the system searches for slots starting from the current start time of the demand to the end of the planning horizon.
- Note that if the work center is not overloaded in the current time slot, the system does not shift the demand at all.
- If you want to shift a complex demand, the system starts to search from the basic start date and time of the complex demand (order) to the end of the planning horizon.
- If there are available slots for the single demands within the current duration of the complex demand, the system shifts the single demands within the duration of the complex demand.
- If you choose Past, the system considers the time period from the start of the planning horizon to the current demand date.
- If you want to shift a single demand, the system searches for slots starting from the current end time of the demand to the start of the planning horizon.
- If you want to shift a complex demand, the system starts to search from the basic end date and time of the complex demand (order) to the start of the planning horizon.
