Minimum number of buffered resources
Use
If you use demand-based resource selection in the planning board, the system determines new resources that are dependent on the demand. To optimize the response time when determining new resources, the system buffers a certain number of resources that have already been read in the working memory. However, if too many resources are buffered in the memory, this can also slow the response time.
To prevent the system memory from being overloaded, you can enter a value in this field for the minimum number of resources. As soon as this figure is reached, the system starts a cleanup process and deletes any resources that have not been used for a long time from the buffer. The system ensures that the number of resources lies between the minimum and the maximum number specified in the Maximum Number of Resources field.
