Definition

Use

Select the Delta Refresh checkbox to activate the delta refresh function. When the function is called in the planning board, the system updates the planning board only with those objects that have been created or changed since the last refresh or since the last time the planning board was called. This helps to reduce the time to refresh data in the planning board.

The system updates the following objects after a delta refresh:

• Assignments
• Time allocations
• Newly created or changed demands
• Newly created or changed links

Restrictions

• If a resource has been newly transferred to SAP Multiresource Scheduling or resource data has been changed (for example, resource status or availability) since the last refresh, a complete refresh is required.
• Due to their time dependency, alerts are always reloaded completely and a delta refresh is not possible.
