Definition

Controls whether the work center on the planning board is integrated into the service order.

Use

You can choose between the following options:

  1. No backward integration
  2. Backward integration of resource planning nodes
    If you choose this option, the system carries out backward integration if the demand is assigned to another resource planning node. In this case, the system determines the work center for the new resource planning node and integrates this work center into the order operation.
  3. Backward integration
    This option includes backward integration when a demand is assigned to another resource planning node (see point 2). The system also integrates the resource planner's work center into the order operation if an assignment exists for the demand. Provided that there is an assignment for the demand, the system integrates the resource's work center into the operation as the resource planner's work center. If the assignment is deleted, the system integrates the resource planning work center of the demand into the operation.

Dependencies

You must have activated the 1:1 relationship between the assignment and the demand for service orders for the integration to be successful. If the 1:1 relationship of assignments and demands for PM/CS orders is not active in the IMG activity Activate 1:1 Relationship of Assignments and Demands for Demand Categories, the data is not integrated even if you have set the indicator for backward integration of the work center.
