Use
If you select this checkbox, the capacity graphs A and D (with and without reservations, including capacitive assignments) are calculated based on the resource utilization.
The utilization of a resource with capacitive assignments is calculated based on the availability of the resource. This is valid for all areas in which the capacity graphs are used, for example, for the determination of collisions and the suitable resource search.
Dependencies
Example
Resource A works from 9:00 to 18:00 with a lunch break between 12:00 to 13:00. The resource has a capacitive assignment from 9:00 to 18:00 with a duration of 8 hours. The following applies:
- If you select this checkbox, the system considers the availability of the resource when calculating the utilization. That is, the utilization is 100% during the working time (9:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 18:00) and 0% during the lunch break.
- If you do not select this checkbox, the system distributes the assignment duration evenly between the assignment start and end without considering the resource availability. In that case, the resource utilization is 89%.
