Definition
Scrap quantity that is relevant for the calculation of work in process.
Use
Indicates the quantity that was produced at this operation and confirmed as a yield but became scrap at a subsequent operation. The yield confirmed at each operation must be reduced by the scrap quantities based on the scrap confirmations of the subsequent periods.
Dependencies
The following applies to the explanation facility for WIP calculation:
Scrap quantities that result from confirmed scrap quantities of subsequent operations = relevant scrap quantity.
For the current period, the sytem shows the relevant scrap quantity of the period.
In the cumulative display, the system shows the relevant scrap quantity of all periods (previous periods + current period).
The display for the previous periods shows the sum of the relevant scrap quantities of the previous periods.
