Definition
Maximum number of partial lots into which the lot is divided, or the maximum number of individual capacities that the operation processes in parallel.
Dependencies
The number of partial lots affects the operation lead time during lead-time scheduling since a split operation has a shorter lead time than an operation that is not split.
The setup activities required for the operation must, however, be carried out multiple times for a split operation. This increases the capacity requirement and the costs.
Note
If the specified number of partial lots does not correspond to the number of individual capacities defined in the operation work center for the scheduling-relevant capacity, the system calculates the smaller of the two values.
