Definition
Costs and payments that are incurred for an operation in an activity-assigned network are managed in the controlling area currency and the object currency of the network activity. The currencies do not have to be the same.
Dependencies
When you create the network activity, the currency of the company code derived from the plant is copied as the object currency.
You can change the object currency directly in the operation if the assigned controlling area does not permit a different company code currency. You can change the currency until the network is released or partially released.
If different company code currencies are permitted in the controlling area, you can change the object currency only by assigning a plant with a different company code currency. As soon as costs or payments are posted to the network activity, the plant can be changed only if the change does not affect the object currency of the operation.
