The following values are possible:

1 = Not relevant for resource planning

The component reservation is not relevant for resource planning even when the order is released. The system does not create a purchase requisition for the components.

X = Relevant for resource planning later

The component reservation is relevant for resource planning by the time that the order is released. If the component is external, the system also creates a purchase requisition for it.

<blank> = Relevant for resource planning immediately

The component reservation is relevant for resource planning immediately. The system creates a purchase requisition straight away if the component is external.
