Documentation

Definition

Determines whether or not a value in the dropdown list for a field is inactive. If you select this checkbox for an entry, the value is inactivated. The value can then no longer be used for creating new requests.

Use

Note the following when deactivating a value that is still used in already existing requests:

• If old requests using the value exist, the inactivated value is still shown for such data. However, when creating new requests, inactivated values are not shown.
• When working with requests using an inactivated value, you have the option to replace the inactivated value with a new value, if required.
• If there are no already existing requests that use the value, the inactivated value is no longer displayed anywhere.
