Definition

Establishes a logical connection between BOM items and network activities

Use

You must first create the reference points that you want to enter here in Customizing for Project System under Material -> Bill of Material Transfer.

If you enter the same reference point in BOM items and a network activity, you can automatically assign these items to the operation using the BOM transfer or update the assignment.

Dependencies

If you defined other fields as reference points in the BOM item and operation in an earlier release, the system ignores the new Reference Point field.

To use this field, you must first delete the definition of the other fields in the IMG activity Define Fields in BOM and Activity as Reference Point.
