Definition

Specifies whether resources in the planning board are locked for other users while they are being processed.

Use

The lock is set for a particular day. Since users can work in different time zones, the day is determined on the basis of the time zone defined in the planning board profile.

If you do not set the lock at resource level, the system checks when saving the planning board whether any potential conflicts exist (due to two users processing the same resource at the same time, for example), and then updates the alerts.
