Documentation
Definition
Controls whether the system permits travel times before the resources become available.
Use
If you set this indicator, you specify that travel times to or from an assignment can be within the non-availability period.
The indicator is therefore relevant for the first and last assignment of the day.
Dependencies
You have to enter the maximum number of minutes allowed for travel time in the non-availability period.
Example
A resource starts work at 08:00. If you set this indicator, the travel time to the first appointment (08:00 at the customer's site) can start before this time.
If you do not set the indicator, the time needed to arrive at the first customer's site begins at the work time (that is, at 08:00).
If the resource is available until 16:00, this indicator also specifies whether he or she is eligible to travel after 16:00. In this case, the system plans assignments until the respective availability limit (that is, from 08:00 to 16:00).
