Documentation
Definition
Controls whether the system considers the expected travel time each day when creating multiday assignments.
Use
If you select this checkbox, the following applies:
- The system considers daily travel times and displays them as additional bars in the planning board.
- For stretched multiday assignments, the system creates one stretched assignment per day including one arrival bar and one departure bar.
- If, for bundled demands, multiple assignments are created in the same available slot, the arrival bar is attached to the first assignment and the departure bar is attached to the last assignment.
Dependencies
The average travel times are defined in Customizing under Optimizer and Travel Times --> Travel Times.
For demands that are based on PM/CS orders, you define the expected travel times in Customizing under Sources of Demand --> PM/CS Orders --> Specify Processing Times for PM/CS Order Operations (ERP).
If you select this checkbox, the system also creates additional bars for the processing times (preparation and wrap-up) for demands that are based on a PM/CS order, irrespective of whether or not you selected the Daily Processing Times for Multiday Demands checkbox.
