Definition

Controls whether the system considers the expected processing times (preparation and wrap-up) each day when creating multiday assignments.

Note that this setting is only relevant for PM/CS demands.

Use

If you select this checkbox, the following applies:

• The system considers daily processing times and displays them as additional bars in the planning board.
• For stretched multiday assignments, the system creates one stretched assignment per day including one preparation bar before the assignment start and one wrap-up bar after the assignment end.
• For concrete multiday assignments, the system creates one preparation bar before assignment start and after each break. A wrap-up bar is created before each break and after the assignment end.
• If, for bundled demands, multiple assignments are created in the same available slot, the arrival bar is attached to the first assignment and the wrap-up bar is attached to the last assignment.

Dependencies

You define the expected processing times in Customizing at Sources of Demand --> PM/CS Orders --> Specify Processing Times for PM/CS Order Operations (ERP).

Note that if you select the Daily Travel Times for Multiday Demands checkbox and processing times exist for the assignment, the system always creates bars for the processing times, irrespective of whether or not you select this checkbox.
