Definition

Activates the intelligent shifting function.

Use

If you set the indicator, you can start intelligent shifting from the context menu of an assignment. In this case, the system proceeds as follows:

It automatically shifts all assignments that follow the selected assignment and fills any gaps. Fixed dates are not affected by this. This function affects only assignments for a resource.

Dependencies

If the indicator is set, the system also takes into account the Maximum Scaling Factor.

Fixed dates can be identified using the BAdI Intelligent shifting /MRSS/SGE_ASS_SHF.
