Documentation
Definition
Specifies whether the effort is distributed monthly, weekly, or on the basis of a generic interval. If you choose Generic Interval, you can freely define the periods for distribution.
Use
If effort is distributed within a project role but no period type has been specified in the project definition, the system uses the value entered here. Since the period type applies to all distributions within a project, it is also copied to the project definition.
If you change the period type in the project definition at a later time, all distribution intervals are recalculated.
