Use

If you select this checkbox, the following applies:

  • All PM orders that are transferred as demands to SAP Multiresource Scheduling are grouped by PM activity types. In addition, the system calculates the demand work for each activity type.
  • All CRM service orders are grouped by CRM service products. In addition, the system calculates the demand work for each CRM service product.
  • All demands are grouped by demand status group. In addition, the system calculates the demand work for each status group.

You configure demand status groups in Customizing activityMap Abstract Statuses to Status Groups.

You must select this checkbox if you want to display the demand work by category, that is, by PM activity type, CRM service product, and demand status group in theCapacity and Demand Overview report.

If you select this checkbox, the system assigns each demand item that is created or updated in SAP Multiresource Scheduling to the corresponding category. For example, PM order operations are assigned to the PM activity type category.

Notes:

  • The system calculates the demand work and the assignment work for each category. Processing times, travel times and the demand reserve are not calculated.
  • If demands exist in SAP Multiresource Scheduling that have not yet been assigned to one of the above mentioned categories, you must run report /MRSS/SGE_LN_CORRECTION once in your system to create a link between a given demand item and the corresponding category.
  • This setting increases the data base storage consumption.
