Definition
Defines the capacity graphs to be used for determining the resource utilization.
Use
Select a type of capacity graph that meets your requirements. There are eight types to choose from, each of which displays the capacity with and without capacitive assignments, with and without reservations, as well as with and without availabilities.
Dependencies
Depending on the type of assignment (stretched or concrete) that is created for a given demand type, the following applies:
- Creation of stretched assignments:
In the Basic Capacity Graph Type field you specify whether or not the system considers on-call time allocations when determining the resource availability, that is, whether the G or the I graph is taken as a basis for the availability determination. Once the system has determined the basic availability, the graph you specify here is checked to determine whether the basic availability is reduced by existing assignments or reservations. In the Min. Avail. (minimum relative availability) field you specify a threshold value that must be met for this check.
- Creation of concrete assignments:
The system determines the free slots in which assignments can be created solely based on the graph you specify in this field. The entries made in the Basic Capacity Graph Type and the Min. Avail. (minimum relative availablity) field are not considered.
