Documentation
Definition
Controls whether or not the system calculates the midpoint of a resource's travel route. The midpoint is the geometric center of the polygon that is formed by all demand locations on the resource's travel route.
Use
Select this checkbox if you are using appointment booking at resource level and want the system to determine the approximate travel times based on the rough distance to a demand location.
If this setting is in place, the system calculates the route midpoint for each resource. The system needs this information to calculate the rough distance to a demand and to estimate the time the resource needs to get there.
Dependencies
This setting is only necessary if the system calculates travel times for appointments based on the approximate (rough) travel times. Under Appointment Booking → Appointment Booking at Resource Level →Determine Travel Times for Appointments, you can check which travel time calculation method is used.
