Definition
Controls whether or not the system includes the location of the new demand when calculating the midpoint of a resource's travel route. The new demand is the demand for which the service order is being created in the appointment booking process.
Use
Select this checkbox if you want the system to include the new demand location when calculating the route midpoint. If this setting is in place, the system re-calculates the route midpoint when a new service order is being created in the appointment booking process. The estimated distance and travel time corresponds to the values the system uses to deduct capacity from the capacity pots when the related demand is saved in SAP Multiresource Scheduling.
If you do not select this checkbox, the system does not include the new demand location and does not re-calculate the route midpoint. Instead, the system estimates the distance and travel time to the new demand location based on the existing midpoint of the travel route. In this case, the estimated distance and travel time may differ from the values the system uses to deduct capacity from the capacity pots once the service order is saved as a demand in SAP Multiresource Scheduling.
Note:
When saving the demand in SAP Multiresource Scheduling, the system always calculates the midpoint based on the locations of all demands (including the location of the new demand), irrespective of whether or not you select this checkbox.
