Definition

Influencing factor with the mode of action "number of sales days".

Use

To take variable sales periods into account in the forecast (for example, due to Sundays and public holidays or openings and closures), you use the influencing factor with the mode of action "number of sales days".

You can only use this influencing factor with the mode of action "number of sales days" once per forecast model. Enter the influencing factor in the basic data for the forecast model.

The following influencing factor types are available for the mode of action "number of sales days":

  • Type "number of sales days"
  • Type "exit" with the "calendrical influencing factor" indicator set

Dependencies

An influencing factor with this effect is automatically a normalizing influencing factor. The sales days are also taking into account in the determination of the strength of influencing factors of the type event or of the type "exit" with the "calendrical influencing factor" indicator set. A day is only included in the calculation of the strenth of the influencing factor if it is a sales day with an active event occurrence.
