Definition
The event dimension controls the following for an event:
- Info object whose characteristic values can be assigned to the event occurrence. The definition level of the event is also derived from the event.
- Description of the dimension. This is recommended if you use an info object in several dimensions.
- Master data check against info object values, if necessary, by using special rules (for example, if only particular attribute values should be permitted).
- Storage of the assignments for event occurrences.
