Definition

Key which uniquely identifies a sales pattern for a markdown profile.

The sales pattern makes forecasts about the sales ratios expected in the individual periods of the corresponding markdown profile. Corresponding price reductions can then be derived from these forecasts.

Use

A sales pattern is used within planning (before the season concerned) to distribute the planned sales among individual periods within the season and to plan price reductions in advance.

Dependencies

Each sales pattern relates to a certain markdown profile. However, several sales patterns can be assigned to a markdown profile (1:n relationship).
