Documentation
Definition
Enter the project in SAP NetWeaver Gateway Service Builder with which you want to work. You can open an existing project or create a new one. Projects are used to store all the artifacts you need to create a service and data model together in one place.
Use
Projects enable you to stop and continue the service development and modeling process as required without being bound to runtime artifacts. Furthermore, you create transport requests at project level to enure that all the relevant objects can be transported from one system to another. This ensures that all artifacts remain together.
Dependencies
When you define a name for a new project, ensure that the project name does not contain any special characters or spaces. Underscores between words are permitted. The project name must not exceed 30 characters and must not start with a number.
