Documentation
Definition
Displays the exchange rate at which the transaction currency of the RBD document is converted into the appropriate local currency and posted.
Use
According to European law you can enter a quantitative rate here.
You only make an entry in this field if a planned exchange rate differs from the regular rate on the posting date.
The exchange rate is used by Financial Accounting to convert a value adjustment posting in position currency into the local currency. In the RBD account, the exchange rate is found in the planned and actual records, and in the account statement. The development list also uses the exchange rate.
Dependencies
Example
If you enter a rate of 1.6 for a planned record of over 10 000.00 USD, the system posts 6250.00 Euro in the posting system (factor 0.625). Accordingly, the exchange rate 0.8 leads to a factor of 1.25 for the conversion into local currency.
