Documentation
Definition
In this field, you enter the expected probability (as a percentage) that the customer will utilize the contingent liability.
Use
This percentage value is used for the calculation of the risk provision balance for the 'reserve# position during risk provision calculation according to the fair value analysis.
Dependencies
- This percentage can be a minimum of 0.00% and a maximum of 100.00%. Negative values are not permitted.
- The usage probability is used as a weighting factor for future expected utilization positions, cash flow positions, and collateral positions. It is not possible to change the usage probability of individual positions.
- In the Customizing activity Reserve Evaluation per IAS, you can define a default value for the usage probability, provided that it has not been supplied already by the source system.
- In the Customizing activity Definition of Usage Probability of Reserves, you define the minimum permitted percentage. From this threshold value, the obligation to recognize as liability applies and it is possible to set up corresponding reserve positions. If the usage probability defined in the evaluation sheet is lower than the threshold value, you cannot set up a "'reserve' risk provision position or delete any existing risk provision position.
