Definition

This field displays the amount that was/is posted as an Appropriation to the Provision balance.

Use

An appropriation is an increase to the corresponding risk provision balance (reserve).

If the provision requirement calculated for the specified key date for the source system contract is greater than the provision balance that has already been posted, the provision balance must be increased. The balance increase is made by an appropriation.

Dependencies

On the #Turnover Processing# tab page of the RBD account, the system displays the corresponding planned record or actual record - dependent on whether or not the result of the key date evaluation has been posted already - for this amount .
