Definition

During risk provision, risk classes are used to classify any interrupted payments for a loan and the resulting risk for the lender.

Use

The RBD risk provision component is used to assign:

• The first time a risk provision is posted, the risk class #300 -Impaired 2# is set.
• If you post a usage or a direct write-off, the risk class #400 # Foreclosed# is set.
• If the last risk provision in a portfolio is cancelled completely, the risk class is set to #000 - On Watch# for all the assigned contracts.

Dependencies

If you make the relevant system settings, it is possible to return both the risk class and RBD account number for postings of an individual risk provision (actual record) to the account management systems # for example, SAP Loans Management for Banking, Suite Edition (FS-CML) # where they can be displayed.

Note that the system returns the risk class determined for the RBD account to all source system contracts that are assigned to the RBD account.
