Definition

You can use this indicator to define at book value component level when manually entered amounts are to be transferred to a follow-up valuation and when they are not.

The following processing rules are available:

Fixed Value    Short Description    Long Text

    Always Transfer Manual Entry    Manually entered amounts are always transferred to the follow-up valuation and override any values delivered automatically. This rule should be used when manually maintained book value components only are used.

X    Do Not Transfer Manual Entry    If an amount has been entered manually, it is not transferred to a follow-up valuation.

R    Rule-Based Transfer    If this indicator is set for a book value component, manually entered amounts for the book value component are transferred to the follow-up valuation until an amount that has changed since the last valuation is supplied by automatic data delivery or online access to the position-managing source system.

Use

The corresponding settings are configured in the Customizing activity ECF: Define Book Value Components; these are general settings # individual settings for each valuation are not possible in the RBD account dialog.
