Documentation

Definition

If you set this checkbox, the principle of dual control is activated for posting RBD planned records. This means that a planned record can only be posted if the SAP user posting the planned record is not the user who last changed the RBD planned record.

Use

If it has been activated, the principle of dual control applies to the posting of planned records using the following RBD functions:

  • RBD Accounts screen - Transaktion Change RBD Account
  • Mass processing function IVA: Posting Run - Future Analysis
  • Mass processing function IVA: Update Run - Past Analysis

Dependencies

  • The principle of dual control is only applied during mass processing functions if the function is being executed online. The principle of dual control is not applied if these functions are executed as background jobs (for example, as part of month-end processing).
  • The SAP user must be authorized to post planned records:
    • They must have authorization for the transaction being used
    • Authorization object RBD_EDIT in combination with activity "10 (Post)" for the corresponding RBD area
