Documentation
Definition
Evaluation date for the first risk provision posted for the RBD account.
The Date of Initial Evaluation is set depending on the evaluation date of the initial evaluation that exists for the RBD account (and has not been reversed).
Dependencies
The Date of Initial Evaluation is set by the system as soon as an actual record is posted for the first time in the RBD account. The initial evaluation date is not supplied based on the posting date of the actual record. It is supplied based on the evaluation date on which the actual record was created.
The Date of Initial Evaluation is blank or not filled if there are no actual records for the RBD account or if all the actual records have been reversed.
The initial evaluation date is intended for information purposes only and does not affect any other processes. Any changes that are made are documented by the corresponding change documents.
Example
- On August 2 of the current calendar year, an RBD account is created for a loan that is in danger of default.
-> The Date of Initial Evaluation is blank at this time. - On August 4, the administrator updates the RBD account with the evaluation key date August 4 of the current calendar year. This means that the proposed risk provisions created (planned records) are created based on the data that existed on the evaluation key date.
-> The Date of Initial Evaluation is still blank. - The supervisor approves the proposed risk provisions are approved on September 12. Since the posting period for August of the current fiscal year has already closed, the proposed risk provisions are posted (that is, the planned records are transferred to actual records) with the posting date September 12 of the current calendar year.
-> When the planned records are posted as actual records, the system fills the Date of Initial Evaluation field with the corresponding evaluation date: August 2 of the current fiscal year. In other words, not the posting date of the actual record but the evaluation date of the actual record. - On September 20, the RBD account with the same evaluation date is updated again. The proposed risk provisions created (planned records) are posted on the same day to actual records.
-> The Date of Initial Evaluation remains the same because the evaluation on September 20 was not an initial evaluation but a follow-up evaluation. - On September 30, all the actual records created (those with evaluation dates of September 20 and August 4) are reversed.
-> The Date of Initial Evaluation is initialized (cleared). - On November 1, the RBD account with the evaluation date October 31 is updated again. The proposed risk provisions are posted using the same posting date.
-> The initial evaluation date is changed to October 31. - The Date of Initial Evaluation cannot be August 2 because the actual records for this evaluation have been reversed.
- The Date of Initial Evaluation must be October 31 because the actual records created are the results of an evaluation with the evaluation key date October 31.
