Definition

Basic key figures classified according to the categories "costs", "revenues" and "sales deductions".

During selection of basic key figures for a variant, the system starts by assigning all basic key figures from the system to the "costs" category. You must adapt this assignment in accordance with the semantics that you want to use. Make sure that basic key figurees that you want to carry revenues are designated as revenues.

This setting controls the +/- sign handling of basic key figures. In the Cost and Revenue Journal, the +/- sign with which the basic key figures are stored as result elements is determined as follows: Receipts of revenues are posted with a - sign, receipts of costs and sales deductions are posted with a + sign.
