Definition

Specifies the type of check or correction.

Use

You can select between the following check or correction options:

  • Differences that cannot be assigned to a purchase order.

The system checks for inconsistencies that can no longer be assigned to a purchase order because the purchase orders are, for example, already archived or because there are rounding differences (see SAP Note 392205). Note that the report added to the SAP Note only applies to the standard system and not to SAP Catch Weight Management. Movement types 557 and 558 are used.

  • Differences for each delivery-completed order item.

The system analyses the purchase orders here. The system displays the quantity that theoretically still has to be posted for the order items, but for which the delivery completed indicator is already set. No subsequent goods receipt or goods issue is therefore expected. The system displays the remaining stock or quantity for which too much was removed from the stock in transit. You can reassign these quantities to or post them from the issuing plant. After this, an inventory adjustment posting is performed in the issuing plant for these quantities. To do this, movement types C51, C52, C01 and C02 are used.
