Definition

If you set this flag, the system interprets the costing lot size for a catch weight material in the base unit of measure.

This applies not only to the costing lot size in the material master but also when you enter the costing lot size directly in the initial screens for material costing. During costing, the system converts the costing lot size in the base unit of measure into a costing lot size in the valuation unit of measure. Results are generally always displayed on the basis of the costing lot size for the valuation unit of measure.

Use

For catch weight materials you can specify the costing lot size in the base or the valuation unit of measure.
