Use

This business add-in (BAdI) is used in the material master component (LO-MD-MM).

BAdI WRF_PRGRP_MERCHCAT_E is needed to enable control of the required entry of the price level group field in material group maintenance.

It uses method PRGRP_MANDATORY_CHECK for this.

The method is transferred via import parameter IP_MATKL to the material group currently being processed.

Changing parameter EP_PRGRP_MANDATORY then controls whether the price level group field must be filled or not.

Requirements

You can only use this BAdI if your SAP R/3 System is set up as a SAP Retail System and the price level group function is activated in Customizing.

Standard settings

The BAdI is active in the standard system. However, there is no default implementation.
