Use
In this IMG activity, you define applications and the generallyly application-specific control parameters of the hierarchy.
You can group similar hierarchies together in one application.
When a hierarchy is created, its control parameters are used to create default values for the hierarchy parameters.
You can define the following control parameters for an application:
- Attribute structure for objects
- Attribute structure for nodes
- Authorization group
- Maximum number of hierarchies that can be created
- Function module for alternate hierarchy maintenance dialog
- No other attribute structure allowed for nodes
- No other attribute structure allowed for objects
- Node name must be unique
- Object name must be unique
- Objects can only be added to end nodes
- Display objects in the hierarchy tree
- Display mode for tree display
- Write change document
Requirements
Standard settings
Fixed application IDs are provided with the necessary parameter settings for individual application areas (for example - material list, characteristic value group, and maintenance groups). SAP uses the IDs 01-49. IDs 50-99 are available for customer hierarchies.
Activities
Change the control parameters of the applications provided by SAP as necessary, and create customer applications in the customer namespace (range 51-99).
