Use

Within the framework of operational assortment planning and control for basics, the system links the objects store, general assortment, layout module, material, and fixture. This assignment determines the structure of the assortment. It specifies which store presents which merchandise in which periods, and in which way.

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to perform checks of the current assortment structure against custom criteria (such as a plan).

When you implement this BAdI, the system displays the appropriate pushbuttons in the Layout Workbench and in the assortment assignment tool. You can select a layout module version in the Layout Workbench (or a store in the assortment assignment tool) and then run the check.
