Use
In accordance with the Textile Labeling Law, textiles may provide details of how to take care of the product. This care label gives recommendations about washing, drying in a tumble drier, ironing, dry cleaning, wet cleaning, and about the use of chloric bleaches.
The textile care code used for the care label for washing, drying, ironing, bleaching, dry cleaning and wet cleaning varies from region to region. The wash code "normal wash 70°", for example, is used in Europe, USA and Canada, but not in Japan.
In this IMG activity, for each textile care type you use the the regional textile care codes as a basis for defining the internal textile care codes that are actually used in the relevant region/country group or that are relevant in your system. This may have the practical effect of limiting the maximum number of available care labels per country group.
The textile care codes that you define here are used for the internal storage of the textile labels. In the display screen for editing textile care codes in the material master maintenance, the system uses the coding defined on the regional level.
Requirements
Your ERP system must be activated as a retail system.
Standard settings
SAP delivers the care label defined by the textile care law for each region/country group aus.
Activities
You can change the internal textile care codes in the standard delivery to meet your own requirements.
