Use
In accordance with the Textile Labeling Law, textiles may provide details of how to take care of the product. This care label gives recommendations about washing, drying in a tumble drier, ironing, dry cleaning, wet cleaning, and about the use of chloric bleaches.
The textile care code used for the care label for washing, drying, ironing, bleaching, dry cleaning and wet cleaning varies from region to region. The wash code "normal wash 70°", for example, is used in Europe, USA and Canada, but not in Japan.
In this IMG activity, for each textile care type you define the textile care codes supported by the system that are potentially available for all regions/country groups. In the material master maintenance, you can assign the textile care codes to the material on the basis of the defined country group.
Requirements
Your ERP system must be activated as a retail system.
Standard settings
SAP delivers the care labels defined by the Textile Labeling Law.
Activities
The textile care codes delivered by SAP do not normally have to be changed. If required, you can add additional textile care codes for existing or new textile care types.
