Use
In this IMG activity, you edit the field groups. A field group contains all the fields that have to be edited together.
You use field groups, for example, to edit core master data and the integrated mass change. You then assign the field groups to maintenance groups (you can assign one field group to multiple maintenance groups).
Requirements
Your SAP ERP system must be configured as a Retail system.
Standard settings
SAP supplies defined field groups. The first character of the field group name indicates the field level:
- 0 for basic data
- 1 for listing
- 2 for classification
- 3 for purchasing
- 4 for sales
- 5 for logistics
- 7 for POS
If you desire, you can delete the field groups provided by SAP and/or change their names.
Activities
For customer-specific fields, you can create additional field groups and names in the customer namespace. You can use the following customer namespace:
