Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) enables you to maintain additional data for a new material that is to be created in material planning without having to change screens. Examples of the kind of additional data you can add are the vendor, recommended retail price and assortment grade.
This is possible using a subscreen within the dialog box, which you can lay out according to your personal settings.
Note, however, that additional fields are NOT posted automatically by the system. To post the additional data, you need to implement the BAdI WXP_BADI_020 ("Postprocessing for Material Planning").
Requirements
It is only possible to maintain the additional fields for creating a new material. They can be used for material planning with the assignment of characteristic values and for material planning without the assignment of characteristic values. In both these cases, however, the subscreens have different dimensions.
