Use

In this Customizing activity, you can create your own function profile either by copying an existing one or by creating a new one.

Function profiles define special functions, such as the level of personalization, or the adaption of the WebClient UI to your personal requirements.

Requirements

Standard settings

You can either use the standard function profile PFCG_MODE, or create your own function profile.

Activities

Create Function Profile

  1. Make the following settings:
    • Navigation bar loader profile
      • Defines the technical name of the navigation bar loader profile, for example, DP_PFCG_MODE
    • Implementation class
      • Defines the name of the implementation class, for example, CL_WCF_PFCG_URL_PARAM_CLASS
    • Description
      • Defines the name of the navigation bar loader profile, for example, PFCG Mode
  2. Enter the following parameters and their parameter values:
    • COCKPIT
      • Defines the name of the cockpit, for example, DEALERPORTAL
    • HELPWINFEATURES
      • Defines the window features for the help window
    • WINFEATURES
      • Defines the window features for opening a new window from a direct link group, for example, width=1000,height=750,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,status=yes,resizable=yes

Assign Function Profile

To make your own function profile available in the business role, you need to assign it to the business role. For more information, see Define Business Role.
