Use

In this Customizing activity, you can copy SAP skins to your own skins by using the skin workbench, and adapt the copy to your personal requirements. You can also create your own skins.

You can add and maintain references to the skins that you have created or adapted. If you have added a skin, that skin is available for selection under the layout settings on the central personalization page of the WebClient UI.

Requirements

Standard settings

When you start this Customizing activity, you can see all skins that are configured for use in the UI. This includes the standard skins delivered by SAP, as well as the customer skins that have been added manually, or by the skin workbench.

Activities

Adding a New Skin

You can add a new skin by creating a new entry. Enter data in the following mandatory fields:

  • Skin Name

This specifies the unique technical name of the skin.

  • Skin Description

This is a textual description of the skin. The text is displayed in the selection of available skins, under the layout settings on the central personalization page.

  • Source Path

This specifies the path to the skin root folder in the BSP application.

  • Version
    • Select 1.0.2 to use the default file /SAP/BC/BSP/SAP/thtmlb_styles/sap_skins/thtmlb_core_stand.css provided by SAP. If you select this option, the skin benefits from future updates by SAP in this file.
    • Select 1.0.1 to use the file /path_to_customer_bsp/customer_skin_root_folder/thtmlb_core_stand.css if you have created such a file.
  • UR Theme

This specifies the unified rendering (UR) theme that is used in the launched WebDynpro application. The following entries are delivered:

Skin Name    UR Theme

NOVA    sap_tradeshow_plus

HIGH CONTRAST    sap_highcont

Excluding a Skin

You can exclude skins that you do not need anymore. Instead of deleting these skins, you can deactivate these skins, for example, if you want to use season layouts. Excluded skins are no longer available in the dropdown list box on the central personalization page of the WebClient UI.

  1. Start the development system.
  2. Enter transaction code SM30.
  3. Choose table CRMC_THTMLB_SKNE.
  4. Choose New Entries.
  5. Choose the skin(s) that you want to exclude.
